Multiplication of numbers can be done with the help of tables
For example let us multiply 32 X 3 = ?
The multiplication can be done as follows
Step 1:
Multiply the digit at ones place
2 ones X 3 = 6 0nes
Write 6 in the ones column
Step 2:
Multiply the digit at tens place
3 tens X 3 = 9 tens
Write 9 in the tens column
